Northern Marianas College is inviting all students who are pursuing a college degree to attend the
FREE “Cash for College” workshop that is aimed at assisting students and their parents in maximizing scholarship opportunities.

At the workshop, attendees will receive personal assistance in completing forms for the:

Thursday, January 24, 2019 (10:00am - 4:00pm)
Friday, January 25, 2019 (8:00am - 12:00pm)
Rota: NMC Rota Center

Saturday, January 26, 2019 (9:00am - 12:00pm)
Saipan: NMC As Terlaje Campus (between Buildings N and O)

Tuesday, February 12, 2019 (10:30am - 2:30pm)
Tinian: NMC Tinian Campus

What to Bring with You

Although not required, you are encouraged to bring the following documents to the workshop to help you complete the scholarship forms:

  1. ID: Passport, Birth Certificate, or Green Card
  2. Official Transcript (at least three official copies)
  3. Tax forms: Your OR your parents' signed 2016 1040 form (2016 W-2 statements if you and/or your parents did not or will not file taxes)
  4. Proof of CNMI residency for 2016 and 2017 (For Example, CNMI 1040 tax form, Employment Verification from your employer, Official Transcripts, Voter's Certification, etc.)
  5. Voter Certification (to show you voted in the last election - Contact CNMI Election Commission for more information) - SHEFA Requirement

Scholarship Deadlines

The deadline to submit applications for the CNMI Scholarship and SHEFA have been extended. The new deadlines are:

Application February 1, 2019
Supporting Documents April 12, 2019

Application March 1, 2019
Supporting Documents April 15, 2019
