Welcome to the NMC Tinian Instructional Site!

Northern Marianas College’s Tinian Instructional Site was established on 1994 to provide post secondary and adult education opportunities to improve the quality of life for the people of Tinian. Since the establishment of Tinian Instructional Site, many students have achieved their educational goals and are employed in the community.

The following programs are available at NMC Tinian Instructional Site:

  • Academic Programs Online towards a college degree.
  • Ed2go - A Continuing Education Program.
  • CREES: Agriculture and Extension Programs, Aquaculture, Livestock, and Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Programs.
  • Adult School Program - A high school equivalency diploma under the Adult Basic Education.
  • Community Development Institute offers services from three programs: Community Service and Personal Enrichment (CSPE), Extended Degrees and University Partnerships (EDUP), and Workforce Development and Certificate Training (WDCT).
  • Project PROA/ PROA Center: Aims to improve and expand the capacity of indigenous Chamorro and Carolinian students from Rota, Saipan and Tinian navigate their path to a college degree at NMC. This is a federally funded program from the Department of Education under AANAPISI grant.
