NMC Fall 2013 Registration Begins August 12 (August 2, 2013)

Registration for the Northern Marianas College’s upcoming Fall 2013 semester will begin on Monday, August 12 and run through Thursday, August 15, 2013. Students can register on the day designated for their PowerCampus ID number during this week. Late registration is on Friday, August 16, 2013.

Those who missed the Fall 2013 admission application deadline on July 31 can still submit their application if they attend the NMC information session scheduled for Wednesday, August 7, 2013. The event will be from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm in Room D-1 at the NMC As Terlaje campus. Attendees will also receive waivers for the application and placement test fees.

All new or returning (re-admitted to NMC) students are required to attend a student orientation prior to registration to be allowed to register for courses. Students will need to confirm which orientation they will be attending by contacting the Office of Admissions and Records at 234-5498 ext. 6772/6769.

In addition, new students are required to take the English and Math placement tests before they register. Students may schedule to take the placement tests by contacting Testing Coordinator, Daniel Kintol, at 234-5498 ext. 6774 or visiting the Testing Center in Building I. After taking the placement tests, students can meet with their academic advisors, who will assist students complete registration forms and create class schedules.

Students may register between 9am and 6pm Monday through Friday during registration week. Note that students under Disability Support Services may register on Monday, August 5 through Thursday, August 8, 2013 from 9am to 4:30pm. Note the following dates below:

Ongoing students must obtain registration clearance at the Finance Office, the NMC Library and/or Office of Admissions and Records before they can register for classes.
