Hilux Truck & Sport Compact Car Show at NMC’s Charter Day (May 5, 2014)

The Northern Marianas College Charter Day Planning Committee is inviting car enthusiasts to sign up and participate in the NMC Charter Day Car Show.

Car enthusiasts display their cars and trucks during last year’s Hilux and Sport Compact Car Show at NMC’s Charter Day event. This year’s Charter Day will be on Friday, May 16, 2014 and will also feature the highly anticipated Marianas Idol competition, Battle of the Bands competition and many other performances.

The car show will feature Hilux trucks as well as two-door and four-door sport compact cars.

Those interested in participating in the Car Show must submit a registration form by Monday, May 12, 2014, to the Student Center in Building J at the As Terlaje campus no later than 5 pm. There is a $25 registration fee to enter vehicles in the competition.

The NMC 2014 Charter Day Committee will be giving out the “Best in Show Award” for both categories: Hilux Truck and 2 door / 4 door Sports Compact vehicles. At the end of the competition winners will receive a cash prize.

The NMC Charter Day celebration is an annual celebration that commemorates the establishment of the College in 1981. It is one of the largest celebrations in the CNMI and will include live entertainment, competitions, and other activities for the whole family. This year’s event will take place on May 16, 2014 from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm at NMC As Terlaje campus.
