Become a BUILD EXITO Scholar!

Portland State University, Northern Marianas College, and other colleges have partnered to train, mentor, and support students from around the region (5 from NMC) and to prepare them to solve important health issues.

Selected students will receive:

  • Expense paid trip for one week during summer to Portland, Oregon for orientation (year 1)
  • Research training and experience
  • Student financial support
  • Academic and financial aid advising
  • Travel to national conferences
  • Faculty and peer mentors
  • Expenses paid, one-month research training in Portland, Oregon (year 2)
  • An experience of a lifetime and more!
