Tropical Storm Soudelor Update

Earlier today, Aug. 1, 2015, Typhoon Condition III status was declared by Acting Governor Ralph Torres for the islands of Saipan, Tinian, Agrihan, Alamagan, and Pagan.

Tropical Storm Soudelor is expected to intensify in the next few days and may become a typhoon.

According to the bulletin, the storm is on a track that would take it through the Northern Mariana Islands between Saipan and Anatahan late Sunday (Aug 2) night or early Monday (Aug 3) morning. This may change, however, as the storm may change in speed and direction.
