IT&E donates $3500 in cash and prizes to NMC Foundation Golf Tournament (March 1, 2017)

As part of its ongoing commitment to expand educational opportunities in the CNMI, IT&E today announced that it has donated $3,000 and a Samsung Galaxy S7 smart phone to the Northern Marianas College Foundation.

The donation was made as part of the NMC Foundation’s 14th Annual Golf Tournament, which raises funds for educational programs and services.

“IT&E’s longstanding partnership with Northern Marianas College has helped many students reach their educational goals and we want to continue to strengthen our island’s only post-secondary school as much as we can,” said John Compton, IT&E’s chief operating officer. “We are excited to be supporting this year’s NMC Foundation Golf Tournament, as we do every year, and look forward to a successful event.”

“We are thankful for IT&E’s generous contribution,” said NMC President Dr. Carmen Fernandez. “The company has a strong record of supporting educational causes, and we are extremely appreciative of their commitment to our local community.”

“IT&E’s donation will go a long way in helping NMC students,” said NMC Foundation President Mary Tenorio.
