Federal financial aid available for NMC’s Spring Semester (January 13, 2021)

Students who are looking to access federal financial aid for the Northern Marianas College’s Spring 2021 semester can still file a 2020-2021 Free Application for Federal Student Aid or FAFSA. Students should submit a FAFSA before the Spring semester starts on January 19, 2021.

Qualified students can receive up to $3,173 in federal financial aid for the Spring 2021 semester. The Federal Financial Aid program is administered by the U.S. Department of Education. Through the program's various types of grants, loans, and scholarships, the Federal Financial Aid program is the largest financial aid provider in the U.S.

The FAFSA is available online at fafsa.ed.gov and can also be completed by using the myStudentAid smartphone app available for iOS and Android. NMC’s school code is 015746.

To verify eligibility for Pell Grants, students can contact the NMC Financial Aid Office through email at [email protected] or call 237-6791. The NMC Financial Aid Office is also open from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
