Because of recent global developments that impact both regional and international travel and local budgetary resources, the Public-Private Partnership (P3) Conference that was planned for March 18-19, 2020, has been postponed until Summer 2020.

Please note, however, that stakeholder meetings with CNMI agencies / organizations will continue with USDA reps (on March 18 /19, 2020). More information and meeting invitations to these stakeholder meetings will be emailed directly to CNMI heads and organizational representative.

2019 Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy

In an effort to better assess the economic and community needs for the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands after being struck by Super Typhoon Yutu in 2018, the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) was updated in 2019 to identify key economic development projects with an emphasis on recovery and resiliency. The updated CEDS, which was prepared by the CNMI Office of Planning and Development and the CNMI Department of Commerce, can be viewed here.
