New college students who are looking to access federal financial aid for the Northern Marianas College’s Fall and Spring semester are encouraged to file a 2021-2022 Free Application for Federal Student Aid or FAFSA.

Students should submit a FAFSA before the Fall semester starts on August 16, 2021.

Qualified students can receive up to $6,495 in federal financial aid for the academic year. The Federal Financial Aid program is administered by the U.S. Department of Education.

Through the program's various types of grants, loans, and scholarships, the Federal Financial Aid program is the largest financial aid provider in the U.S.

The FAFSA is available online at fafsa.ed.gov and can also be completed by using the myStudentAid smartphone app available for iOS and Android. NMC’s school code is 015746.

NMC offers several degree and certificate programs, including a bachelor of science degree in education (emphasis in elementary education, early childhood education, special education, or rehabilitation and human services), bachelor of science degree in business management (emphasis in accounting); associate of arts degree in business, associate of applied science degrees in business administration (emphasis in accounting, business management, or computer applications), associate of arts in liberal arts (emphasis in education, health and physical education, social work, or pre-engineering), associate of science in nursing, natural resources management, associate of applied science in criminal justice, and hospitality management.
