Northern Marianas College’s 16th Annual Foundation Golf Tournament, which is set for March 20, 2021 on the East Course of the LaoLao Bay Golf Resort, will feature impressive hole-in-one prizes from McDonald’s, Pacifica Insurance, Joeten Motors, and Triple J Motors.

Players will get a chance to take home thousands of dollars in cash, vehicles, and other great prizes.

“We are thankful for these companies and their support,” NMC Interim President Frankie Eliptico said. “We also thank all of the other companies and organizations who have contributed to this year’s tournament as well.”

Major sponsors for NMC’s 16th Annual Golf Tournament include Bank of Guam, Blackwood Furniture, Dial Rent-to-Own, Express Financial, IT&E, Island Training Solutions, J.C.T Enterprises, Inc., KZMI FM, LaoLao Bay Golf and Resort, Marpac, Power 99, Saipan Computer Services, and the Tan Siu Lin Foundation.

Originally scheduled to happen in 2019, the tournament was canceled because of the impact of Super Typhoon Yutu and was rescheduled for March 2020. However, the Covid-19 pandemic caused the tournament to be postponed again.

This year’s tournament will feature six separate flight categories: Championship, A, B, C, Seniors, and Ladies. Cash prizes for this year’s tournament include $500 for first place, $300 for second place, and $200 for third place.

The maximum number of golf players has been reached, therefore, registration is closed for this year’s tournament.
