Signing Up for a ProaPerks Card
Students
Eligibility
- Must be currently enrolled in NMC classes (at least one class)
- Card must be surrendered upon withdrawal or non enrolment
Procedures for Obtaining Card
- Current students must fill online form at here.
- ProaPerks Cards will be processed and mailed within 5-7 business days.
- Show a copy of their student ID card or a government-issued valid photo ID for in-person pick up.
- OAR will provide mail to Admin to mail out once current/alumni cards once a week (Provide cards and list to admin every Wednesday by 4pm to be mailed out Thursday morning).
- Students must pay $10 for a replacement
Alumni
Procedures for Obtaining Card
- NMC Alumni must fill the online form at here.
- Within 5-7 business days, applicants will receive an email response once eligibility has been verified.
- The email will provide instructions to ProaPerks card applicant to make payment ($10) through one of the following options:
- Pay By Phone (NMC Cashier 237-6821)
- Online via email (by filling and sending a credit card authorization form)
- Accommodations for in person payments can be requested by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
- After payment is made, Finance will send payment confirmation to OAR.
- OAR will print and prepare cards for mailing. Applicants will receive their cards within 3-5 business days.
Employees
Eligibility
- Must be a current, full-time NMC employee.
- Adjunct faculty members who are currently teaching in the semester in which ProaPerks card will be issued - minimum teaching credits for eligibility (1 credit).
Procedures for Obtaining Card
- HRO will submit a request (Name, Power Campus #, and Card Expiration) to OAR to prepare and print cards.
- OAR will process and notify HR within 3 business days when the card is ready for pickup.
- HRO will prepare a card acknowledgment form. Employees must sign the form prior to receiving their card.
- HRO will contact employees when cards are ready to be picked up in person or mailed if the employee prefers. This should be part of the orientation of new employees and new adjunct instructors
Membership Term
- Employees will use the same card design as students
- For current employees cards will expire at the end of the calendar year 12/31. For new employees cards will expire 1 year from their start date.
- Employees who separate with NMC will return cards as part of the Clearance Sheet.
- Replacement for lost cards is $10
