FENG Chun Jin bested the competition in the Championship Flight of the 16th Annual Northern Marianas College Foundation Golf Tournament, Men's Open Division on Saturday at  LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort.

A veteran golfer, Jin displayed his dominance with a consistent swing. He notched his best score at hole #15 where he placed the ball on the green after just two strokes and needed only to chip in the ball for an eagle. He finished first  with a net score of 70 to claim the $500 cash prize.

Coming in second was Gi Yeong Kim with a net score of 75 followed by JJ Atalig in third place with a net score of 76.

In the A Flight of the Men's Open, Ki Soo Kim claimed the top spot with a net score of 70.

Ned Norita  was second with a net score of 75 while Victor Salas was third place with a net score of 79.

In the B Flight, Bill Quitano was numero uno with a net score of 76. Alvin Salas came in second  with a net score of 79 while Aaron Benavente was third with a net score of 80.

In the C Flight, Peng Chang Wu took the crown with a net score of 81, beating Isaac Aguon who scored a net of 85 and Joshua Atalig who had 88.

In the side events, several players received awards.

For Closest to the Pin at hole #4, Freddie Cataluna took the top spot, bringing the ball just 34 inches away from the cup while Gilah Yoon snagged the prize for hole #6 with a distance of 6ft and 7in.

 At hole #11, Gov. Ralph DLG Torres led the pack with a distance of 7ft, 6in.

For hole #15, Ki Soo Kim came in  as close as 1ft and 4in.

For Aggressive Drive, Aaron Benavente, Sylvio Ada and Marco Peter made the list while Joey Dela Cruz had the Longest Drive with 341 yards.
