When applying for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), you will be asked for the Federal School Code of the institution you plan to enroll in.

FAFSA Requirement for Registration
The 2025-2026 FAFSA form covers Fall 2025, Spring 2026, and Summer 2026 semesters, depending on your eligibility.
Effective Fall 2025, all students are required to submit an online FAFSA form prior to registering for the 2025-2026 SY. International Students with some type of visa (F, R, CW, etc.), DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) Students, Early Admissions Students, Non-degree seekers, and Undocumented Students are exempted.

Applicants must:
- Be an undergraduate student who displays exceptional financial need
- Be a U. S. Citizen, or eligible non-citizen (Green Card Holder or a resident of the Free Associated States)
- Obtain a high school diploma or equivalency such as a General Educational Development (GED)
- Have a valid Social Security Number
- Be enrolled in an eligible degree program
- Not have graduated with a bachelor's, graduate, or professional degree.
- Maintain SAP every term by
- Passing at least 67% of their total enrolled credits and maintain a 2.0 term/cumulative GPA or higher
How to Apply:
- Complete the FAFSA Form by logging into www.studentaid.gov with your FSA ID (Username and Password, students and parents must have separate FSA IDs)
- Invite Your Contributor(s): Depending on your household's 2023 tax filing status, contributor(s) may be required to provide information. If your parents or you and your spouse filed taxes separately in 2023, they must be invited to your FAFSA to complete their sections separately.
- Anticipate FAO's Email Notification: Once FAO receives your FAFSA form, you will be notified on how to access the new Proa Portal+ with your student email
- Access the new Proa Portal+: Proa Portal+ will reflect the specific documents you must upload in order to receive your financial aid award package.
- On the Required Documents page, click the Manage button to upload your documents.
