Northern Marianas College on Wednesday signed an agreement with the University of Memphis to advance their partnership that aims to benefit CNMI students who want to earn advanced college degrees. Among other things, the agreement “fosters institutional cooperation by providing for the articulation of courses and transfer credits, the exchange of college resources and scholarship opportunities, student exchange opportunities, and the exchange of technical and administrative assistance.”
Representing the University of Memphis was its executive vice president for business and finance and chief financial officer, Raaj Kurapati, a former NMC chief financial officer. Also in photo are NMC President Galvin Deleon Guerrero, NMC Interim Dean of Academic Programs and Services Vilma Reyes, NMC Director of the Office of the President Kevin Bautista, NMC Human Resources Director Polly Masga, and NMC Cooperative Research, Extension, and Education Services Interim Dean Patty Coleman.
