As part of NMC’s efforts to promote workforce development, Northern Marianas College recently conducted career path assessments and discussed the available resources that the College has to offer to the participants of the Office of the Governor’s Building Optimism, Opportunities and Stability Together (BOOST) Workforce Development Training Program.

The Northern Marianas College, Cooperative Research, Extension, and Education Services (CREES) has been awarded $3.4 million to conduct food science research and spur further economic development in the CNMI.

NORTHERN Marianas College welcomed close to 1,300 students to its Fall 2022 semester which began Monday, Aug. 15, 2022. Despite dealing with an ongoing pandemic and recovery efforts from the major destruction caused by Super Typhoon Yutu in 2018, NMC saw this term a 7% increase in enrollment compared to the same period last year with 1,281 students registered.

Northern Marianas College nursing graduate Norman Tanghal has joined the long list of NMC graduates who have passed the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses or NCLEX-RN.

Nineteen Northern Marianas College students received their Certificates of Completion in Nursing Assistant after participating in a 10-week training conducted by NMC nursing faculty member Johnny Aldan and Nursing Department Chair Rosa Aldan. 

NORTHERN Marianas College Vice President for Administration and Advancement Frankie Eliptico on Tuesday was awarded by University of Guam President Dr. Thomas W. Krise the "Milåyan Presidenten” or The President’s Medal — the highest award given by the UOG president to individuals outside the university who demonstrated distinguished services in accomplishing UOG's mission, which is to enlighten, to discover and to serve.
