The Saipan Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Northern Marianas College and the U.S. Marine Corps to once again bring the Toys for Tots program to the CNMI this Christmas. 

Gov. Ralph DLG Torres proclaimed last week the period from Oct. 2 to 8 as National 4-H Week in the CNMI and later pledged $10,000 to the club.

CNMI Supreme Court Chief Justice Alexandro C. Castro administered the oath of office to 38 new Corrections officers on Thursday during the 9th Cycle Corrections Academy graduation ceremony in the Magellan Room of the Pacific Islands Club.

The CNMI Department of Corrections welcomed 38 new officers following the graduation ceremony of the 9th Cycle Corrections Academy held at the Pacific Islands Club Saipan. Yesterday, a total of 38 corrections academy cadets were administered the oath of office by CNMI Supreme Court Chief Justice Alexandro C. Castro.

A MOTHER on Wednesday lauded the officers and members of the 4-H Marianas Youth State Council for its summer youth program’s positive impact on her children.

Northern Marianas College was awarded a $2.5 million five-year cooperative grant by the U.S. Department of Education’s Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander-Serving Institutions or AANAPISI Program to establish the Proa Pathway Partnership with Portland State University.
