Financial aid is available for new and ongoing students who are pursuing their college studies through Northern Marianas College. The spring semester for NMC begins with the first day of classes on January 19, 2021. Students are encouraged to register before the semester begins.

Adjustments to student events and activities will be made when necessary, including the use of technology to allow online/virtual participation. If we are not permitted to gather, we will develop alternative strategies for all events. 09/06/2020 Temporary Restrictions Lifted; CNMI Returns to Community Vulnerability Level BLUE

Governor Ralph DLG. Torres announced on Sunday that the temporary restrictions on in-person interactions, social gatherings, and business hours, which began on August 24, 2020, will expire at the end of today, September 6, 2020.

09/02/2020 Sailor Deployed to Tinian Tests Positive for COVID-19

The Governor’s COVID-19 Task Force and the Commonwealth Healthcare Corporation (CHCC) announced on Wednesday that a sailor deployed to Tinian from Guam as part of a team of the Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (Seabees) supporting a survey for the Tinian port construction project tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday, September 1, 2020.

08/21/2020 Governor Torres announces temporary reimplementation of restrictions to safeguard the CNMI

Governor Ralph DLG. Torres announced on Friday, August 21, 2020 that the CNMI COVID-19 Emergency Directives have been amended to temporarily reimplement restrictions on in-person interactions, social gatherings, and business hours to protect the health and safety of the people of the CNMI.

08/18/2020 One individual confirmed for COVID-19 through contact tracing

The Governor’s COVID-19 Task Force and the Commonwealth Healthcare Corporation (CHCC) announced on Tuesday, August 18, 2020, that one (1) individual has been confirmed positive for COVID-19, bringing the CNMI’s case count to 54.
