The latest news from Northern Marianas College

To ensure the highest standards of excellence and preparedness among NMC nursing students, Northern Marianas College’s Nursing Department has increased the grade point average requirement from 2.50 to 3.00 for admission into the College’s nursing program for the Fall 2024 Admission Cohort.

This change will be applicable to NMC pre-nursing students who have successfully met prerequisite requirements and are on track to complete their required courses by the conclusion of the spring 2024 semester.

The application process for admission to the Fall 2024 cohort will commence in April 2024 and can be accessed at www.marianas.edu/nursing.

In addition to the GPA adjustment, the nursing program admission test will now be administered annually. Pre-nursing students completing their prerequisites by the end of the summer session in 2024 must plan to take the admission test in June of the following year.
