‘Let’s Move Marianas’ launches Junior Healthy Cooking Challenge for grade school students

The Let’s Move Marianas Initiative Committee is excited to announce the Junior Health Cooking Challenge, which is an opportunity for CNMI youth to showcase their culinary skills by creating healthy recipes that incorporate local fruits and vegetables. The challenge is open to all public and private school students in grades 1-5 in Saipan, Tinian, and Rota.

The CNMI Small Business Development Center Network (SBDCN) at the Northern Marianas College welcomed Ken Lujan, Small Business Administration (SBA) Guam Branch Manager, on March 28, 2023, who was on-island to conduct a site cursory review in preparation for the CNMI SBDCN’s Annual Site Review in July. On March 29, 2023, the CNMI SBDCN also hosted its inaugural Advisory Council Meeting at the Northern Marianas College Board of Regents Conference Room.

The Beta Lambda Psi chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) at Northern Marianas College has been named a recipient of the REACH Rewards program for the fourth year in a row. The recognition is part of PTK’s REACH Rewards program, which celebrates and rewards Phi Theta Kappa chapters excelling in membership development by achieving exceptionally high rates of membership acceptance in the 2022 calendar year.
