18 participants from Saipan, Tinian, and Rota were able to learn about why food safety is important, how to identify potential hazards in food, and the key food safety practices to prevent foodborne illnesses which was conducted by the Northern Marianas College - Cooperative Research, Extension, and Education Services (NMC-CREES), in partnership with with the University of Idaho.

Shawn Castillon and Bonnie Sagana, students of Northern Marianas College’s education program, recently joined the long list of NMC students who passed the Praxis II exam. Praxis II assesses an educator’s knowledge in a specific subject area or grade level that they will be teaching.

CNMI SBDC, Guam PTAC host federal contracting training

The CNMI Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at the Northern Marianas College in partnership with the Office of the Guam Procurement and Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) hosted an Introduction to Federal Opportunities training on Monday, January 30, 2023 on the island of Tinian and on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 on the island of Saipan.
