As part of the continuing efforts to enhance the ability of the CNMI community to recover from disasters, the Cooperative Research, Extension, and Education Services of the Northern Marianas College (NMC-CREES) recently trained and certified 35 residents in Disaster Response Advanced First Aid (DRAFA).

Students who are interested in pursuing a career in nursing can apply to become part of the Northern Marianas College Nursing Department’s newest cohort in the Fall 2023 semester. Those who meet the program’s admission requirements can submit their application beginning Monday, April 24, 2023 to Monday, May 22, 2023.

Tapped Out, a Taproom located on Micro Beach Road, is the latest company to sign on as a Northern Marianas College ProaPerks Partner, joining many other businesses and organizations. All card-carrying members of the NMC ProaPerks program can now receive a five percent discount on any purchase.

Northern Marianas College’s marketing team recently gained national recognition for its graphic design activities. Particularly, the College’s marketing team earned a bronze “Paragon'' award in the category printed marketing materials from the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR). 

‘Let’s Move Marianas’ launches Junior Healthy Cooking Challenge for grade school students

The Let’s Move Marianas Initiative Committee is excited to announce the Junior Health Cooking Challenge, which is an opportunity for CNMI youth to showcase their culinary skills by creating healthy recipes that incorporate local fruits and vegetables. The challenge is open to all public and private school students in grades 1-5 in Saipan, Tinian, and Rota.
