Gov. Ralph DLG Torres and Lt. Gov. Arnold I. Palacios have proclaimed Oct. 3 to 9, 2021, as National 4-H Week during a proclamation signing at the Northern Marianas College last Monday. Throughout the week, 4-H will highlight the hard work of the organization’s many youth members in the CNMI and recognize their dedication to making a positive impact on those around them.
Northern Marianas College recently partnered with the Governor's Council of Economic Advisors to advance the Adopt-A-Median campaign. Earlier this week NMC President Dr. Galvin Deleon Guerrero, together with NMC’s Board of Regents, Gov. Ralph DLG Torres, Senate President Jude U. Hofschneider, Speaker Edmund S. Villagomez and Tan Holdings President Jerry Tan signed the agreement to adopt the Chalan Monsignor Guerrero medians.
Sixty-five students from Northern Marianas College pledged to distinguish themselves through academic excellence by contributing to the community and the Commonwealth through various community service and leadership activities as new members and officers of the Beta Lambda Psi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa or PTK International Honor Society.
