Northern Marianas College (NMC) President and University of Southern California (USC) alum Galvin Deleon Guerrero, EdD has been extended an invitation to join the Higher Education Thought Leaders Advisory Group hosted by USC Rossier School of Education Dean Pedro A. Noguera.
Noguera, on behalf of USC Rossier, is spearheading the establishment of an advisory group comprising distinguished alumni leaders in Higher Education. The primary objectives of this group include the sharing of cutting-edge research and policy initiatives conducted at USC Rossier, informing impactful strategies in service to students, institutions, and systems, fostering a network of leaders in higher education, and addressing critical issues and policy initiatives related to educational equity and USC Rossier's mission.
Deleon Guerrero has been specifically invited to contribute his expertise and insights to this visionary initiative. Noguera expressed the desire for Deleon Guerrero to play a vital role in the advisory group, emphasizing the importance of his perspective in shaping the future of higher education, especially for Pacific Island institutions.
