Individuals who participate in Northern Marianas College’s upcoming info session on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 will qualify to have their NMC Fall 2023 admission application fee and placement test fees waived. The waiver represents a savings of up to $75.

THE Northern Marianas College Board of Regents on Thursday renewed the contract of NMC’s president,  Galvin S. Deleon Guerrero, Ed.D., for four years. Board of Regents Chairman Charles V. Cepeda made the announcement in the presence of Deleon Guerrero himself, Regents Zenie P. Mafnas, Jesse M. Tudela and Michelle L. Sablan, other college officials and NMC Foundation Board Chairman Vicente Babauta in the NMC BOR conference room at 11 a.m.

The Northern Marianas College Board of Regents has renewed Dr. Galvin Deleon Guerrero’s contract as NMC president for another four years. Board chair Charles V. Cepeda announced the renewal of Deleon Guerrero’s contract in a news briefing yesterday morning at the college’s conference room.

As of 5:00 pm today, Governor Arnold Palacios had cancelled typhoon conditions for Rota and issued the “All Clear” for Tinian and Saipan. (Please refer to the attached advisory for more information.) With that announcement, NMC’s Rota site will remain closed as we assess the damage to its facilities and ensure it is safe for employees, students, and the community to access before reopening. Also note that NMC’s Tinian and Saipan sites will reopen tomorrow, Friday, May 26, and all employees at these sites are expected to report to work

As of 5:00 am today, Governor Arnold I. Palacios had maintained Typhoon Condition I for the island of Rota and Tropical Storm Condition I for the islands of Saipan and Tinian.
