The latest news from Northern Marianas College

As part of its long-standing commitment to higher education in the CNMI, Bank of Guam recently donated $10,000 to the Northern Marianas College Foundation for the upcoming Golf Open on March 23 and 24, 2024.

“Education and teamwork drive success, both on the green and in our communities. NMC's Golf Open embodies these values, and we're proud to partner with them to chip in for scholarships and academic excellence, ensuring every CNMI student has the chance to swing for their dreams,” said Bank of Guam Vice President Marcie Tomokane.

NMC’s tournament will be a two-day event and the tournament fee for the 2024 golf open is $250.

“On behalf of NMC's Foundation and every student who will benefit, I express our deepest gratitude to Bank of Guam,” said Ben Babauta, Chairperson of the NMC Foundation. “We're thrilled to have their support in shaping bright futures through education.”

The tournament, which is also the signature event of the NMC Foundation, aims to raise funds to build and equip modern, innovative campus facilities that will help expand the CNMI’s workforce development efforts, stimulate economic growth, and provide access to quality education for the residents of the CNMI.

Like previous tourneys, this upcoming tournament will feature thousands of dollars in amazing prizes such as a 2024 Lexus RX350 from Atkins Kroll, a 2023 Honda Civic Type R from Joeten Motors, a $10K Shopping Spree from Top Shelf Wine and Spirits, a $10K Cash Prize from Ambyth Shipping, a $10K Cash Prize from Pacifica Insurance, and a $3K Cash Prize from McDonald's of Saipan.
