The latest news from Northern Marianas College

In support of funding higher education in the CNMI, IT&E recently donated $2,500 cash and a brand new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 to the Northern Marianas College Foundation for the upcoming Golf Open on March 23 and 24, 2024.

"IT&E is proud to swing into action and support the NMC Golf Open with a $2,500 donation and a cutting-edge Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5. We believe in staying connected not just through technology, but also through fostering opportunity, and we’re proud to support this year’s Golf Open to help higher education in the CNMI," said IT&E General Manager Velma Palacios.

NMC’s tournament will be a two-day event at the LaoLao Bay Golf and Resort and the tournament fee for the 2024 golf open is $250.

“On behalf of the NMC Foundation, we are thankful for IT&E’s donation to our upcoming Golf Open,” said Ben Babauta, Chairperson of the NMC Foundation.

The tournament, which is also the signature event of the NMC Foundation, aims to raise funds to build and equip modern, innovative campus facilities that will help expand the CNMI’s workforce development efforts, stimulate economic growth, and provide access to quality education for the residents of the CNMI.

Like previous tourneys, this upcoming tournament will feature thousands of dollars in amazing hole-in-one prizes such as a 2024 Lexus RX350 from Atkins Kroll, a 2023 Honda Civic Type R from Joeten Motors, a $10K Shopping Spree from Top Shelf Wine and Spirits, a $10K Cash Prize from Ambyth Shipping, a $10K Cash Prize from Pacifica Insurance, and a $3K Cash Prize from McDonald's of Saipan.
