As part of the ongoing efforts to empower women entrepreneurs in the Commonwealth, the CNMI Small Business Development Center Network (CNMI SBDCN) at the Northern Marianas College (NMC) and the Commonwealth Women’s Association (CWA) will be hosting the third cohort of the Women’s Entrepreneurship Project. This project aims to provide a nurturing environment for female entrepreneurs to thrive and succeed in their business endeavors.

The United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) National Institute for Food and Agriculture (NIFA) has recently awarded the Northern Marianas College $151,370 to enhance agricultural and food science education through the implementation of Virtual Reality (VR) technology.

NMC Professor of Social Sciences and Fine Arts Dr. James "Jim" Kline recently published his book, Nonrational Logic in Contemporary Society, a book that explores modern examples of beliefs that defy logic but nevertheless are enthusiastically embraced by legions of contemporary people living in technologically advanced societies.
