The latest news from Northern Marianas College

The Rota Small Business Development Center at Northern Marianas College, in partnership with Rota Chamber of Commerce, will be hosting “Brick & Mortar to Click & Order,” a seminar targeting current business owners looking to leverage social media to increase sales, expand operations, or to learn basic marketing tips to increase social media presence.

The training is scheduled to take place on Friday, October 6, 2023 from 9am-11am and will be held at the Northern Marianas College’s Rota Campus in Room A1.

With the exponential growth of social media platforms, including them in a business’ marketing strategy is a must today. During this session, attendees will focus on determining which platforms should be utilized, developing engaging content for those channels, as well as measuring success. This workshop is designed to equip attendees with tips and tools they can use to make the most of their social media pages.

“In just three years, the landscape of social media has undergone a transformative evolution, morphing from a mere platform for engagement to a dynamic marketplace of influence. Businesses must now adapt their marketing strategies to navigate this new terrain, leveraging authentic connections, meaningful content, and strategic partnerships to thrive in a world where relationships matter more than ever,” said Roman Tudela, CNMI SBDCN Marketing Manager and Outreach Specialist.

Registration for the training is now open and interested parties are encouraged to secure their spots.
